Prosys OPC UA Historian released
Prosys OPC UA Historian is a new product that enables you to collect and store data from multiple OPC UA servers into one central location. The product features OPC UA client to collect data, database connections to store data and OPC UA Server to publish data.
Historian can be connected to any OPC UA compatible sensor, device or automation system. The product can collect data in real-time and store it in SQL databases.
In addition to history data logging, you can use Historian as a gateway for accessing real-time data from all the underlying OPC UA servers. Having all the data behind a single point of access enables tighter firewall rules and better control of the network.
Once Historian has started collecting data, it can be accessed with any client application that supports OPC UA or SQL. This includes ERP, MES and BI systems, as well as numerous Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications.
Prosys is a leading provider of professional OPC software and services with over 10 years of experience in the field. OPC and OPC UA (Unified Architecture) are communications standards used especially by industrial and high-tech companies.
