Prosys Forge 2026.1 Released
We are pleased to announce the release of Prosys OPC UA Forge 2026.1, marking a major step toward AI-driven industrial connectivity. Built on feedback from real production environments, this release expands Forge’s capabilities for data integration, automation, and intelligent access to factory floor data.

Key Highlights of Version 2026.1:
- MCP Interface – Part of New AI Suite
Provides a universal interface for connecting AI agents to OPC UA data. - AMQP Module – Part of IoT and Field Connectivity Suite
Allows users to send and receive messages through the AMQP protocol. - I3X – Part of HTTP Connectivity Suite
Enables standardized access to asset data, bringing factory and enterprise systems closer together. - OPC UA Cloud Library – A New Core Feature
Provides an interface to download official OPC UA NodeSets from a server hosted by Prosys OPC and automatically handles NodeSet dependencies. - AD & LDAP Certificates
Ensures secure LDAP communication. - PLC Module Improvements
Improved read/write performance and reconnection logic, and fixed issues related to memory consumption. - Connection Monitoring from Address Space
Provides a Server Status node to indicate the connection status between Forge and the underlying data sources. - Serve Files via OPC UA
Files from file systems can now be exposed as OPC UA FileType objects for client access.
Regarding existing Forge licenses, this is a major release requiring a new license key.
