The High Performance SDK enables the utilization of OPC UA even in the most compact devices, ensuring their readiness for IoT integration. Moreover, this implementation ensures enhanced performance for advanced servers that are required to efficiently manage numerous concurrent connections. The new implementation maintains wire compatibility with the original OPC Foundation Stacks.
Enhancing Performance
The design of the components permits the execution of functionalities such as the network encoder/decoder within a separate process. This not only holds the potential to enhance performance but also offers the advantage of leveraging mechanisms like Linux Secure Computing Mode. This capability allows to disable any operating system calls for this process.
