We have released new versions of Prosys OPC UA Simulation Server and Browser. These updates introduce new functionality, usability improvements, and several fixes.

Simulation Server

• The server state shown in the Status View can be changed manually, for easy testing of client applications in basic scenarios.
• Headless mode for running the server from the command line without the UI. Requires Professional or Evaluation license.
• Container (Docker) distribution of the headless server, available for both linux/amd64 and linux/arm64.
• Playback can be started from the command line, and started, stopped and monitored over OPC UA with the new ServerControl Object in the server’s address space.

Browser

• Usability improvements.

Both applications now use Prosys OPC UA SDK for Java 5.8.0.

If you have the applications installed, they will offer the updates automatically. Alternatively, you can select Check for Updates from Help menu.
