Prosys OPC UA Forge Grafana Plugin 1.4.0 Released

We have released a new version 1.4.0 of Prosys OPC UA Forge Grafana Plugin. The release brings new major features that improve usability and efficiency in a variety of usage scenarios.

Features and improvements in Version 1.4.0

  • Support for Grafana Alerting
    • Use Grafana’s alerting capabilities with data provided through Forge to track key values and trigger notifications when defined conditions or thresholds are met. The plugin enables easy configuration of Grafana alert rules and notification policies for monitoring specific events at the device level.
  • Control Values
    • In addition to visualizing data coming through Forge plugin, you are now able to write values from panels back to Forge and its underlying data sources. This allows users to adjust setpoints, control devices, and update process values directly from Grafana.
  • Improved Design
    • Parts of the plugin have been rebuilt so that queries run through the Grafana server instead of the web browser, enhancing performance significantly and creating foundation for future features. Consequently, separate plugin packages are now provided for each supported operating system and processor architecture.
